The Ubiquiti airMAX NanoStation M5 (NSM5) is an indoor/outdoor 5 GHz airMAX CPE designed for point-to-point (PtP), point-to-multipoint (PtMP), wireless bridging, CCTV backhaul, and outdoor network extensions. It uses 2×2 MIMO and an integrated high-gain directional antenna.

The NanoStation M5 is particularly suited to 5 GHz outdoor wireless links, offering a compact directional CPE design, integrated antenna, airMAX TDMA, dual Ethernet ports, and passive PoE.

Note: The NSM5 uses 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, so it is an older-generation solution. Do not confuse it with the NanoStation M5 loco (LocoM5), which is smaller, has a 13 dBi antenna, and only one Ethernet port.
